On October 20, 2010 the Love, NORTON Cocktail Party & Silent Auction will be held at the Oakville Grocery in Scottsdale, Arizona from 6pm-9pm. This event will benefit Friends for Life Animal Rescue. This organization's mission is "to significantly impact animal overpopulation through aggressive programs focusing on spay and neuter, adoptions, and education." Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a registered non-profit, volunteer-run, no-kill shelter dedicated to ending the suffering of homeless cats and dogs in Arizona.

Guests will be entertained by DJ RTM. We hope that the participation of friends, family, and pet lovers will enjoy an evening of fun, dancing, food, cocktails, and silent auction in order to raise money for Friends for Life Animal Rescue to honor the life of Norton, my best friend for 15 ½ years. Norton passed away on October 20, 2009 after battling oral melanoma; cancer affects our four-legged friends too.

Tickets to Love, NORTON Cocktail Party & Silent Auction are $50. ($10 is a tax deductible donation) You may purchase your tickets through PayPal-click on the link below this paragraph. To request alternate payment options, please use contact information. If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation, please feel free to do so using the donate button. You may also send a check made payable to Friends for Life Animal Rescue 1854 E. Appaloosa Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85296.

You may donate any amount through PayPal; however, if you are attending the Cocktail Party and Silent Auction, remember tickets are $50 per person. You will be redirected to PayPal's donation page to enter your secure payment information.

All of the money raised by the silent auction directly benefits Friends for Life Animal Rescue. Unfortunately, NO PETS allowed at the Cocktail Party & Silent Auction.

The spirit of this event is to “encourage kindness, respect, and a sense of responsibility toward animals,” and to raise cancer awareness.
